Hi, I’m Natasha
(the blonde who means business).
I started this brand in college accidentally.
As a communications minor, I took a digital publishing class in which the major assignment was to create your own blog of any topic. I was hesitant about what I wanted to create, and at that time as a business major, was facing a lot of societal pressure in many facets of my life - interning in corporate America, cheering in the NFL, competing against my peers in a competitive business school. I was constantly faced with opposition that I could only be one thing at a time. I felt inspired to make my blog a forum where I could share stories as a testament to how you can be it all, all the time. My amazing professor, Susan Magee, helped me think of the name “This Blonde Means Business” and the platform was born.
I hope “This Blonde Means Business” inspires you to mean business in all facets of your life. Own your career, own your passions, be personally inspired by entrepreneurial and career stories. These are the accounts that motivated me to start this platform and make my own path, constantly combating that society tells us we can only be one thing.
I am someone establishing myself and my brand, just like you. Welcome to where I will share all of the latest regarding business topics and trends, personal issues I’ve faced, and the solutions I administered to navigate sticky situations at work and within myself. My goal is to inspire you to pursue your most authentic career aspirations and share tips and resources to help you achieve them.
I am based out of Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Drexel University in June of 2021 with my degree in Marketing and Communications. I now work in Corporate America full-time, so experientially understand the challenges and obstacles building your dream career.
Beside business, I have various other passions. When I’m not traveling, shopping (my absolute favorite activity), or spending time with family and friends, I find fulfillment choreographing and modeling professionally.
Through working across multiple industries, competing in a “fast paced” and rigorous business school, and simultaneously maintaining my creative passions, I realized the importance of establishing a forum for advice and discussion regarding personal and m professional development + how to stay true to oneself among pressures from peers, parents, colleagues, and others.
This Blonde Means Business has grown from the time I was in college from just a blog to a blog, book club, podcast, YouTube, and newsletter (coming soon).
